Using the Spark Plugs to check whether you bike is jetted correctly
SPARK PLUG AND GAP 0.8mm recommended spark plug NGK DPR7EA-9, Denso X22EPR-U9
To get a true plug color reading you must run the engine, on a level road, at the throttle setting that you want to test, for about a mile, then kill the ignition, pull the clutch in and coast to a stop. Then pull the plug and look at it.
For proper jetting they should look a light tan in color.
If they are black an sooty then it is to rich
If they are whitish than you are running to lean
